Guess who’s engaged? Babyface …and yes, it’s not to Toni Braxton as many may have figured.
Mr. Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and his girlfriend of 7 years, Nicole Patenburg are officially together after Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton innocently drew the secret out of her friend and partner [Face] on television over the weekend.
This is how it happened;
She was interviewing him during a promotion for their new album of duets, "Love, Marriage & Divorce" on BET.com. Toni casually asked Babyface if he would "ever consider getting married again?" [After his divorce to Tracey Edmonds in 2005] The Grammy winning singer/songwriter/producer responded, "I’ve already considered it. I’m engaged, so yes."
Braxton, looking very shocked, could only reply with, "You're engaged? I think your fans are gonna be a little disappointed, but equally happy for you." Did she mean, she will be disappointed of his fans? Did Toni want to marry the man?
Edmonds, 54, and his first wife, Tracey – the mother of his two sons – divorced after 13 years of marriage and he allegedly decided not to tie the knot again but the music mogul had a daughter with his present fiancée, Nicole Patenburg, in 2008 and now they are engaged!
Nicole used to work as Babyface’s back-up dancer
