“I Still Want To Marry Genevieve Nnaji” – D’banj

Nigerian pop star, Dapo Oyebanji, (D’banj), has not given up hope of getting married to Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji. The ‘Entertainer’ crooner seems to still be in love with Genevieve and if he has his way, he will make her his wife.

The two of them were reported to be in a very serious relationship some years back when he featured the ‘Face of Range Rover’ model in his song, ‘Fall in Love’, where they exchanged real life kisses. But the relationship packed up like a badly arranged cards.

But now, D’banj believes he still has what it takes to marry her if she will give him the chance. This is what he said in a recent interview: “Apart from the fact that she (Genevieve Nnaji) is my friend, she has been a part of my success. There is no way you are going to tell my story that Genevieve’s name will not come up, because she featured in my biggest song of all time, ‘Fall in Love’.

I would love to have Genevieve as my wife. We never can tell what God plans for us in the future. I have studied her and I realize that anyone that has her as his woman has found himself a treasure. Just like the Bible says, any man who finds a wife finds a good thing.”

So sweet, and well said, D’banj. We wish you luck in your quest.

2014 world cup :Who will join Brazil in 2014 world cup

With the qualification campaign for the 2014 World Cup approaching its decisive stages, a number of teams will this week be looking to book their tickets for next year's tournament.

Hosts Brazil have already been joined by Asian representatives Japan, Australia, Iran and South Korea, European giants Netherlands and Italy, as well as USA, Costa Rica and Argentina.

Additionally, a number of nations from Africa, Europe, North America and South America can also seal qualification in the upcoming days.

In Group A of the Uefa qualifying campaign, Belgium are sitting in pole position to qualify for the 2014 World Cup, as a draw away against Croatia on Friday will be enough to see Marc Wilmots' star-studded squad through.

Elsewhere, Germany can secure top spot in Group C with a win over Republic of Ireland, while even a draw or a loss will suffice if second-placed Sweden fail to beat Austria.

In Group E, Switzerland are on the verge of qualifying for next year's competition, as a win over Albania would clinch top spot in their section. A draw could be enough for Ottmar Hitzfeld's man as well, but only if Iceland drop points against Cyprus, while defeat will only see them through if both Iceland and Slovenia fail to win.

Russia are the sole team from Group F that can qualify on Friday, but they will have to beat Luxembourg, while second-placed Portugal will have to lose against Israel in order for Fabio Capello and his men to seal their berth in Brazil.

Bosnia-Herzegovina will qualify for the World Cup from Group G if they beat Liechtenstein on Friday and Greece are beaten by Slovakia in Piraeus.

Finally, in Group I, reigning world champions Spain will seal the deal with a win over Belarus at Palma de Mallorca on Friday.

In South America, Colombia can wrap up qualification on Friday if they bag at least one point against Chile on Friday, while even a loss will do the trick if the game between Uruguay and Ecuador does not end in a draw.

Chile, meanwhile, will qualify with a win over the Colombians. Furthermore, the winner of the game betweenUruguay and Ecuador in Quito will advance, too.

In the Concacaf, Honduras can become the third team to qualify if they beat Costa Rica on Friday and Panama fail to beat Mexico.

Finally, this weekend also marks the first legs of the African play-offs, with Burkina Faso hosting Algeria, Cote d'Ivoire taking on Senegal, Ethiopia versus Nigeria, Tunisia against Cameroon and Ghana locking horns with Egypt.

Oceania representative New Zealand and Asian side Jordan will be closely monitoring the action in North- and South-America respectively, with the Intercontinental play-offs taking place in November.

(MUST READ) "I lost my virginity when i was eight" - Chris Brown Reveals..

Chris brown disclosed how he lost his virginity and how it made him a beast in the bedroom..with a recent interview with TheGuardian
Read Excerpts:

He lost his virginity when he was eight years old, to a local girl who was 14 or 15. Seriously? "Yeah, really. Uh-huh." He grins and chuckles. "It's different in the country." Brown grew up with a great gang of boy cousins, and they watched so much porn that he was raring to go. "By that point, we were already kind of like hot to trot, you know what I'm saying? Like, girls, we weren't afraid to talk to them; I wasn't afraid. So, at eight, being able to do it, it kind of preps you for the long run, so you can be a beast at it. You can be the best at it." (Now 24, he doesn't want to say how many women he's slept with: "But you know how Prince had a lot of girls back in the day? Prince was, like, the guy. I'm just that, today. But most women won't have any complaints if they've been with me. They can't really complain. It's all good.")

Jack Wilshere dimisses Manchester United Starlet playing for England

Wilshere against Januzaj playing for England
Jack Wilshere believes Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj should not be allowed to play for England.

The 18-year-old scored twice during his first Premier League start against Sunderland, while Roy Hodgson has revealed the Football Association is monitoring the situation of the Belgium-born midfielder.

Januzaj is also eligible for Croatia, Albania and Serbia but Wilshere has dismissed the idea of the midfielder playing next to him at Wembley.

"No, for me, if you are English, you are English, and you play for England," Wilshere told reporters. "The only people who should play for England are English people.

"If you've lived in England for five years, for me, it doesn't make you English. You shouldn't play. It doesn't mean you can play for that country.

"If I went to Spain and lived there for five years, I'm not going to play for Spain. For me an English player should play for England really."

Wilshere also believes a national team manager should also be from the same country, before highlighting the impact Fabio Capello had on his international career.

He added: "I think it's better if there is an Englishman [in charge], but don't get me wrong, Fabio Capello did a lot for my England career.

"He brought me here, gave me my debut and stuck with me form a young age, so he was a good manager as well."

Youssou N’dour brings it home in the No. 1 spot. This Senegalese singer is widely considered the most famous singer alive in Senegal and much of Africa. They were named Artists of the Year at the 2010 Kora Awards and now bring in more than $150,000 per show. Aviation Minister Replies FFK...You Are An Ignorant Individual Who Should Bury His Head In Shame

It all started when Mr Fani Kayode asked the president to sack the Minister of Aviation because of the plane mishaps we have had during her tenure. He said, ''How many more people have to be killed in air crashes before our President GEJ realises that he needs a new Minister of Aviation''. Meanwhile, the minister, Stella Oduah who addressed journalists few days back, described the plane crash as an act of God. FFK felt that was not true, he took to twitter to tell her his God does not perform such acts. Tired of FFK's statements about her, the minister decided to fire back at him yesterday. And guess what FFK already replied her. Read what she said below and FFK's reply to her.

Oduah; Fani-Kayode was misleading innocent Nigerians and needed sympathy. “I have huge sympathy for them, the ignorant people in particular. Because when you speak out of context, when you speak under the influence of whatever it is you are under, you speak incorrectly and you mislead innocent Nigerians and that is what he has done. And he really should hide his head in shame.”

Fani-Kayode; My advice and counsel to her is to grow up and stop being petty. She is meant to talk like someone who befits her office and not like a market woman or a fish wife.I do not like joining issues with women publicly which is why I was very gentle with her in my essay though I made my point.
But this particular woman is endangering the lives of our people with her incompetence and insensitivity and we cannot just keep quiet. This is a woman under whose watch almost 200 people have been killed as Aviation Minister and instead of focusing on how to save lives her obsession has become smearing and abusing Femi Fani-Kayode. He said it was wrong for the minister to tell Nigerians that ‘’accidents are inevitable’’ and that they were ‘’acts of God. This is a woman who thinks more about how her headscarf looks, her jewelry and the jewelry of others more than she does about protecting Nigerian air travellers,” he added. He said if anyone should bury her head in shame it should be the minister and not him.
